ONLINE Adult BIBLE STUDY

Bible Study is held each Monday at 6pm, usually between September and June. This study goes through a single book of the Bible, chapter by chapter, exploring the history of the texts, their connections to other Biblical books, the dominant themes, and how it all serves to illumine God’s hopes for us.

You can participate by following going to Zoom.us then select Join A Meeting from the top menu bar and enter our  meeting ID: 332 988 592.

To connect by phone call 253-215-8782 or 301-715-8592. You will be asked to enter the meeting ID, which is 332 988 592 followed by the # sign. If it asks for a participant ID, just enter the # sign again.

Youth Ministry & formation

St Luke’s participates in the regional 4West Youth Ministry with neighboring Episcopal Parishes serving youth 12-18. 4West meets monthly during the school year and is designed to help youth develop a relationship with god as well as guiding them in finding ways to practice a ministry of their own within and without the church.

Celebrating the Saints

Each Thursday at 10am as part of our weekly mass, we celebrate the life of one of the holy women and holy men of the church.

Children’s Formation

At this time, St Luke’s does not have a traditional Sunday School program. However, we take the formation of children and families seriously. We encourage families to work with Fr Jon to develop a program where the whole family can grow and learn together. Additionally, children age 8 and up are encouraged to become altar servers to learn about worship through being an important part of it.
